Film de protección de superficies Tesa 4848 PV1 100 m x 12,5 cm transparente – cinta de protección temporal para superficies

Tesa Surface Protection Film 4848 PV1 is a transparent temporary protective tape supplied on a 100 m roll with a 12.5 cm width. It is designed to shield finished surfaces from scratches, dust, paint splashes and other contaminants during renovation, transport or storage. The film adheres to a variety of substrates and is formulated to peel off cleanly without leaving adhesive residue when removed within its recommended time frame.

Advantages

The film provides a clear, low-profile barrier that preserves the appearance of surfaces while work is carried out. Its temporary adhesion balances secure attachment with residue-free removal on many finished materials. The product’s roll format and moderate width allow for controlled application and economical coverage of windows, glass panes, metal sheets and similar items. Transparency ensures visibility of the protected surface, which helps during alignment and inspection.

Suitable for

• Protection of windows and glass during renovation or painting
• Temporary covering of metal parts and profiles in storage or transport
• Shielding finished interior surfaces from dust and paint splatter
• Short-term protection of laminated and coated panels

Key specifications

• Material: transparent protective film with pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Roll length: 100 m
• Roll width: 12.5 cm
• Temporary adhesive designed for clean removal within recommended time
• Suitable for use on glass, metal and a variety of finished surfaces

How to use

Measure and cut the required length of film from the roll, then align and apply it to the clean, dry surface. Smooth the film from the center outward to remove air pockets and ensure intimate contact with the substrate. For best results, apply at moderate temperatures and avoid stretching the film during application. To remove, peel the film off slowly at a low angle; if adhesive residue is present on sensitive substrates, test removal in an inconspicuous area first and follow with a suitable cleaner if needed.

Recommendations

Use on intact, clean and dry surfaces; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or very high temperatures to maintain clean removability. Adhere to manufacturer guidance for maximum recommended exposure time on specific substrates. Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to preserve adhesive performance.
