Film protector Tesa 04373 12 m x 55 cm

Tesa Masking Film 04373 is a transparent protective masking film on a roll, 12 m long and 55 cm wide, designed to simplify surface protection during painting, renovation and maintenance tasks. The film is lightweight and translucent, allowing light transmission and visibility of covered objects while shielding them from paint splashes, dust and dirt. Supplied on a roll for quick unrolling and cutting to size, it helps reduce preparation time and speeds up post-job cleanup.

Advantages

The transparent masking film provides reliable temporary protection for a variety of surfaces without obscuring visibility. Its roll format enables controlled dispensing and straightforward cutting to custom lengths. The material is thin and flexible, conforming to uneven shapes and edges while minimizing creases. Because it is transparent, it allows inspection of covered areas without removal and supports faster masking workflows in painting and renovation projects.

Suitable for

• Covering furniture, shelves and appliances during painting
• Protecting windows and glass from splashes and dust
• Masking floors, fixtures and work surfaces in renovation jobs
• Temporary protection of equipment and materials on job sites

• Width: 55 cm
• Material: transparent polyethylene film
• Form: roll for manual dispensing and cutting
• Properties: lightweight, flexible, translucent

How to use

Unroll the required length of film and cut it with scissors or a utility knife to match the area to be protected. Drape the film over the object or surface, adjusting to cover edges and irregular shapes. Secure the film in place where necessary with compatible masking tape or tape designed for painting tasks to maintain clean paint edges. After work is complete and paint or dust has dried, remove the film carefully to avoid transferring debris to cleaned surfaces.

Recommendations

Use the transparent masking film in combination with appropriate masking tape for improved edge protection. Avoid exposing the film to high heat or open flame. For best results on vertical surfaces, apply tape at the top edge before hanging the film and smooth out any air pockets to ensure consistent coverage.
