Filtro de color EUROLITE Red Frost 165×132 mm, modelo 41906655

EUROLITE Red Frost dichro filter 165×132 mm is a rigid color filter sheet designed for professional stage, studio and architectural lighting applications. The filter produces a diffuse red output with a frost surface that softens beam edges and reduces hotspots, making it suitable for even color washes and subtle mood lighting. The sheet’s flat format and standard rectangular dimensions allow use in fixtures or holders that accept 165×132 mm filter plates and make it simple to trim or mount for custom setups.

Advantages

The red frost finish provides consistent color transmission while scattering light to avoid sharp beam artifacts. Its rigid construction keeps the sheet flat in holders, ensuring uniform coverage across the aperture. The material resists common handling during installation and can be cut to size with standard tools for custom mounting. As a dichro filter, it delivers stable color performance without the heat-related fading associated with some traditional gels.

How to use

Insert the 165×132 mm filter sheet into a compatible fixture holder or frame that accepts flat plates of this size. If trimming is required, mark and cut the sheet with appropriate cutting tools, taking care to protect edges and maintain flatness. Position the filter between the light source and the aperture so the frosted side faces the lamp or beam path as needed for the desired diffusion. Check fixture temperature ratings and ensure the chosen holder provides adequate ventilation; replace the filter if visible damage or deformation occurs.

Recommendations

For consistent color and longevity, use the EUROLITE Red Frost filter in fixtures within their recommended operating temperatures and avoid direct contact with high-temperature lamp elements. Store flat to prevent warping and handle with clean gloves to keep the surface free of fingerprints and contaminants.
