Filtro de cristal óptico Irix Revo UV & Protector 82mm Super Resistant con recubrimiento de 16 capas, marco ultrafino de aluminio aeronáutico, repelente al agua y al aceite, resistente a arañazos, 99,5% de transmisión

This 82mm UV and protector filter combines superb optical clarity with rugged physical protection, delivering 99.5% light transmission and a 16-layer anti-reflective coating system. Its super resistant optical glass and aircraft-grade aluminum frame make it an ideal first line of defense for your premium lenses, while the slim profile prevents vignetting on wide-angle setups.

Advantages

The Irix Revo UV & Protector 82mm is engineered for photographers who demand both image fidelity and durability. The 16-layer multi-coating (8 layers per side) effectively suppresses flare and ghosting, maintaining high colour neutrality and contrast even in challenging backlight. A water- and oil-repellent coating sheds moisture and fingerprints, keeping the filter clean and easy to maintain. The scratch-resistant surface withstands everyday handling, and the front 82mm thread allows stacking of additional filters or a lens cap. With a filter factor of 1 (0-stop), no exposure compensation is required.

Suitable for

• Protecting the front element of expensive telephoto, wide-angle, or standard zoom lenses with 82mm filter threads
• Outdoor and travel photography where dust, sand, sea spray, and accidental impacts are a risk
• Shooting in humid or rainy conditions thanks to the hydrophobic coating
• Videographers needing a neutral, flare-resistant protective filter for consistent colour rendition
• Landscape and architectural work where UV reduction helps cut atmospheric haze

Recommendations

Pair this filter with a high-quality multi-coated lens to preserve maximum sharpness. Always use a lens cap when not shooting to extend the life of the coating. Clean with a microfiber cloth and lens cleaning solution; the water- and oil-repellent layer simplifies maintenance. For extreme environments, consider adding a circular polarizer or neutral density filter on the front thread for creative control.
