Hornillo portátil Fire-maple FMS-X5 — hornillo de exterior ligero y compacto, patas plegables, un solo quemador

Fire-maple FMS-X5 is a portable single-burner stove engineered for lightweight outdoor use. The unit features a compact body with foldable legs and a single control valve, offering a stable platform for small pots and pans. Designed to accept standard screw-on isobutane/propane canisters, this cooker focuses on simple setup, fast boil times and reliable heat for basic backcountry cooking, boiling water and heating meals while camping, hiking or traveling.

Advantages

The FMS-X5 combines low weight and compact dimensions for easy packing, while foldable legs provide a steady support surface on uneven ground. A single-burner layout with an adjustable flame control allows users to regulate heat output for boiling or gentle simmering. Its straightforward attachment to common threaded gas canisters makes it compatible with widely available fuel types, simplifying logistics for short trips.

Suitable for

• Lightweight backpacking and day hikes where minimal weight and small footprint matter
• Car camping and travel as a compact secondary cooker
• Quick meal preparation and water boiling at campsites and picnic areas
• Outdoor use in mild to moderate conditions where a single-burner stove is sufficient

When it may not be suitable

The FMS-X5 is intended for solo or small-group cooking and may not meet needs for large-scale meal preparation or multi-burner cooking setups. It is not designed for prolonged heavy-duty use or for situations requiring high, sustained power output such as large-capacity kettles or commercial-style cooking.

Key specifications

• Single-burner configuration with adjustable flame control
• Foldable support legs for compact storage and improved stability
• Lightweight construction suitable for backpacking and travel
• Compatible with standard screw-on isobutane/propane fuel canisters
• Stable pot support designed for small to medium cookware

How to use

Set the FMS-X5 on a flat, stable surface and unfold the legs until they lock in position. Screw a compatible fuel canister onto the stove’s threaded connection according to the fuel manufacturer’s instructions, keeping the unit upright. Open the control valve slightly and ignite using a match, lighter, or built-in ignition if provided, then adjust the flame to the required level. Monitor the cooking process and always maintain proper ventilation. After use, turn off the gas, allow the stove to cool, disconnect the canister if required, fold the legs and store the unit in a protective pouch.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm compatibility with the type of threaded fuel canisters available in your region
• Assess the maximum pot size and weight you plan to use to ensure stable support
• Consider wind conditions and whether a separate windscreen may be needed for efficient cooking
• Check the stove’s weight and packed dimensions against your gear weight limits

Recommendations

Use the Fire-maple FMS-X5 on a stable, level surface and shield it from strong wind for best performance. For efficient boiling, use a lid on pots and reduce flame to simmer once water reaches boil. Store and transport the stove with the fuel canister detached according to safety guidelines.
