Fuente de alimentación Cisco PWR-C5-600WAC

The Cisco PWR-C5-600WAC power supply provides a reliable 600W AC power source for compatible Cisco network switches. Built with a robust metal enclosure in black and grey, this module is designed to deliver consistent power, helping maintain stable network operation and reducing downtime associated with power issues. The unit supports standard installation into Cisco chassis that accept this form factor and integrates with the switch's power management functions to monitor and regulate power draw.

Advantages

The power supply offers a continuous 600W output suitable for mid-density switch configurations and moderate accessory loads. Metal housing improves heat dissipation and mechanical durability while color-coded design aids in quick visual identification during maintenance. Integration with Cisco switch power management allows the device to report status and enable controlled power sequencing, which contributes to safer installation and predictable startup behavior.

Suitable for

• Providing primary or redundant AC power to compatible Cisco network switches
• Small to medium enterprise access or distribution switches
• Environments requiring stable, monitored power delivery to networking equipment

Key specifications

• Total output power: 600 watts (AC)
• Form factor: modular power supply designed for compatible Cisco switch chassis
• Construction: metal enclosure for improved durability and heat dissipation
• Color: black and grey
• Cooling: active cooling compatible with chassis airflow (dependent on host switch)
• Power management: supports integrated monitoring and status reporting when installed in compatible equipment

How to use

Install the power supply into a compatible Cisco switch slot following the host device manufacturer's installation procedure. Ensure the switch is powered down or that hot-swap procedures are followed if the host supports hot-swappable power modules. Connect the AC mains cable to a properly rated power source and verify that the switch recognizes the module through its management interface or status LEDs. Monitor the device after installation for correct operation and temperature within the host chassis.

Recommendations

Use in properly ventilated equipment racks and maintain ambient temperature within the host switch specifications. For redundancy, pair with a second compatible power module and configure the switch's power policies. Perform regular visual inspections for dust accumulation and ensure connections are secure to maintain reliable operation.
