Fuente de alimentación HP L28758-001 250W Small Form Factor para sistemas HP

HP L28758-001 is a 250W small form factor power supply designed for compatible HP desktop systems. The unit delivers a regulated 250-watt output in a compact housing intended for systems with limited internal space. Made for replacement or repair, this power supply restores stable power delivery to motherboard, storage and cooling components, enabling proper operation of affected HP small form factor desktops.

Advantages

The small form factor design saves internal space while providing a stable 250W output suitable for standard office and business configurations. Built to meet HP compatibility and physical fit requirements for supported chassis, the unit simplifies maintenance and replacement. Regulated voltage rails and integrated connectors reduce the risk of power-related instability and help ensure consistent system performance after installation.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing a faulty power supply in compatible HP small form factor desktops
• Restoring stable power delivery to systems used for office productivity and light workstation tasks
• IT maintenance and refurbishing of compact HP desktops where space and heat considerations require a low-profile PSU

Key specifications

• Output power: 250 watts continuous
• Form factor: Small form factor (SFF) compact housing
• Voltage regulation: multiple regulated rails suitable for motherboard and peripheral power needs
• Cooling: internal fan designed for compact chassis airflow
• Connector type: board-mounted and chassis-compatible connector set for HP SFF systems
• Intended use: replacement unit for compatible HP desktop models

How to use

Before installation, power off the desktop and disconnect it from mains power. Open the chassis according to the HP service instructions for the specific model and remove the existing power supply by detaching its connectors from the motherboard and peripherals and unscrewing any mounting fasteners. Install the HP L28758-001 by aligning it in the SFF bay, securing it with the original screws or compatible fasteners, and reconnecting all power connectors to the motherboard, drives and other components. Close the chassis and reconnect mains power, then power on the system and verify normal operation and stable voltages in BIOS or with appropriate diagnostic tools.

Recommendations

Use this power supply only in HP systems specified for small form factor units. Verify connector compatibility and physical fit for your chassis before purchase. If the system continues to show instability after replacement, check other components such as battery, memory and storage devices, and consult HP service documentation or an authorized technician for further diagnostics.
