The DeLOCK braided sleeving (5 m x 9 mm) is a self-closing protective sleeve made from polyester designed to bundle and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires. Its flexible construction allows easy installation and keeps cable runs tidy while reducing abrasion and exposure to dirt.

Advantages

The polyester braided sleeving is flexible and lightweight, providing abrasion resistance and basic protection from dirt. Its self-closing design permits quick fitting around existing cable bundles without disassembly, and the black colour offers a discreet finish for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Bundling power and data cables
• Protecting wiring in home or office installations
• Organising cables behind desks, AV racks or workstations
• Covering exposed electrical tubes and wire harnesses

How to use

Measure the required length and cut the braided sleeving to size. Open the self-closing sleeve and place it around the cables or wiring bundle, then allow the braid to close around the bundle. For longer runs, overlap sections slightly or secure the ends with cable ties, heat shrink or adhesive tape to prevent fraying.

Recommendations

Do not use this polyester sleeving for high-temperature or direct flame applications. For sharp edges or heavy mechanical stress, consider additional protection. Secure cut ends to avoid fraying and check compatibility with cable insulation and connectors before installation.
