Funda trenzada para aislamiento de cables DeLOCK 18899

DeLOCK 18899 is a braided, fire-proof sleeving designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires. Made from rubber and silicone materials and finished in red, the sleeving measures 10 m in length and fits diameters from 1.0 cm to 1.4 cm. It provides abrasion resistance and protects conductors from dirt and mechanical damage while allowing flexible routing and bundling.

Advantages

The sleeving is fire-resistant and offers thermal protection for cables and wires. Its braided construction delivers abrasion and wear resistance while maintaining flexibility for easy installation. Available in a continuous 10 m length, it enables neat cable bundling and routing. The rubber and silicone composition provides durable insulation and a stable fit over the specified diameter range.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting individual cables and small cable bundles
• Organising wires inside equipment, cabinets or under desks
• Protecting exposed electrical tubes and wires from dirt and mechanical wear
• Applications requiring fire-resistant cable sleeving

How to use

Measure the cable or cable bundle diameter to ensure it falls within the 1.0–1.4 cm range. Cut the sleeving to the required length and slide it over the cable(s) or wrap it around exposed tubes or wires. For fixed installations, secure the ends with heat-resistant tape, cable ties or clamps. Ensure connectors or terminations remain accessible if needed by leaving an appropriate gap or using removable end protection.

Recommendations

Use the sleeving within the specified diameter range and avoid stretching it beyond the maximum diameter to preserve fire-resistant and insulating properties. For installations exposed to high mechanical stress or outdoor conditions, inspect periodically and replace the sleeving if signs of wear appear.
