Garmont 9.81 Onyx GTX botas de montaña - Raven Black/Firecracker Orange

Fast hiking demands footwear that disappears on your feet while still protecting against rough terrain and sudden weather. The Garmont 9.81 Onyx GTX answers with a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining that stays breathable during high-output climbs, paired with a Michelin® Free Cross outsole for confident grip on rock and mud. The raven black upper with firecracker orange accents is built on Garmont’s ErGo-Last, which follows the foot’s natural asymmetry for a more precise, less fatiguing stride.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX Extended Comfort waterproof-breathable membrane for all-season protection
• Michelin® Free Cross rubber outsole tuned for fast hiking and approach
• Dual-density EVA midsole with 8 mm drop balances cushioning and ground feel
• Ortholite® footbed adds long-lasting comfort and moisture management
• Rubber toe cap shields against rock strikes on technical trails

In daily use

On rolling singletrack or scrambling approaches, the Onyx GTX keeps weight low and response high. The breathable mesh and microfiber upper dries quickly after creek crossings, while the traditional lace-up closure lets you fine-tune fit from heel to forefoot. Moderate flexibility means you can hike all day without stiffness, yet still edge confidently on slabby sections. Arch support is built into the ErGo-Last geometry, reducing strain when carrying a light pack.
