gira 106303 carcasa de superficie 3 elementos con marco Standard 55, superficie, blanco puro

The gira 106303 AP housing 3-gang with frame Standard 55 in pure white is a surface-mounted enclosure designed to hold three Standard 55-compatible modules. It enables tidy, visible installation of switches, sockets or control units where recessed wiring is impractical or impossible. Supplied with a matching Standard 55 frame, the housing provides a finished appearance for retrofit jobs, installations on solid walls or lightweight plasterboard, and for extending circuits without opening into a wall cavity.

Advantages

The surface-mounted design eliminates the need for in-wall installation, reducing labor and structural alteration. The integrated Standard 55 frame ensures compatibility with a wide range of gira modules and provides a consistent visual match with existing Standard 55 devices. The pure white finish offers a neutral look that blends into most interiors while the three-module capacity supports compact multi-function arrangements in a single enclosure.

How to use

Position the housing on the chosen flat surface and mark fixing points. Secure the enclosure with appropriate screws and wall plugs for the substrate (masonry, plasterboard or concrete). Route cables into the housing through the provided knockouts or entry points, fit the selected Standard 55-compatible modules into the frame, and connect wiring according to applicable electrical regulations and safety standards. Finally, attach the Standard 55 frame and module covers to complete the installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fasteners and sealing where required to ensure a stable and safe installation; verify module compatibility with the Standard 55 system and follow local electrical codes for wiring and earthing. For installations in damp or exposed locations, consider additional protective measures or an enclosure rated for such environments.
