Gorenje GEC6C40WD cocina independiente placa vitrocerámica eléctrica negra, blanca

The Gorenje GEC6C40WD freestanding cooker combines a ceramic 4-zone hob with a medium-capacity 71 L electric oven in a 600 mm wide housing. It offers rotary controls for the hob and touch controls for the oven and timer, supporting both conventional and forced convection cooking modes. Energy consumption values for typical cooking programs are 0.941 kWh for conventional mode and 0.81 kWh for forced convection, and the appliance is available in black and white finishes to fit different kitchen styles.

Advantages

The ceramic hob provides a smooth, easy-to-clean surface and four defined cooking zones for simultaneous use. The oven’s 71 L capacity accommodates family-sized dishes while offering both conventional and forced convection modes to adapt heat distribution to different recipes. Combined rotary and touch controls give tactile operation for the hob and precise digital control for oven timing and mode selection. The 600 mm width makes the cooker suitable for standard kitchen spaces without requiring extra installation width.

How to use

Place the freestanding cooker on a level surface and ensure safe electrical connection according to local regulations before first use. Use the rotary knobs to select and adjust heat levels on the ceramic hob zones; choose cookware with flat, smooth bases for best contact. For oven cooking, select the desired mode and temperature using the touch controls and set the digital timer as required. Allow the oven to preheat to the indicated temperature before placing food inside to ensure even results. After cooking, switch off all controls and allow surfaces to cool before cleaning.

Recommendations

Use cookware that matches the size of the selected hob zone to conserve energy and achieve even heating. For baking, prefer forced convection when cooking multiple trays at once and conventional mode for single-tray recipes that benefit from direct heat. Clean spills on the ceramic hob promptly with a soft cloth and appropriate cleaner once the surface has cooled. Regularly check seals and door hinges and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidance to ensure consistent performance and energy efficiency.
