Grabador de vídeo en red IMOU N118W negro — 18 canales, reproducción de 4 canales, máx. 3840×2160, WLAN de doble banda, SATA hasta 16 TB

IMOU N118W Black is an 18-channel network video recorder designed for multi-camera surveillance systems that require a balance of wireless convenience and wired reliability. The unit supports up to 3840×2160 (4K) resolution for connected cameras and simultaneous playback of four channels. Dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 (2.4/5 GHz, 802.11b/g/n/ax) with four antennas and a Gigabit Ethernet port provide flexible network connectivity, while SATA storage supports a single HDD up to 16 TB for extended retention. Built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way audio without extra hardware, and front-panel LEDs show HDD, network and power status. The device is CE certified.

Advantages

The IMOU N118W combines support for up to 18 wired camera channels with the ability to add multiple Wi‑Fi cameras, allowing mixed deployments that suit expanding installations. H.265 video compression reduces required storage and network load while preserving image detail at up to 4K output via HDMI or VGA. Automatic pairing for IMOU cameras simplifies setup, and the integrated two-way audio removes the need for separate audio accessories. Dual‑band Wi‑Fi 6 and four antennas improve connection stability and reduce latency for live view and remote access.

Suitable for

• Small to medium business surveillance with multiple indoor and outdoor cameras
• Residential multi-camera systems requiring 24/7 recording and extended storage
• Sites needing mixed wired and wireless camera deployments for flexible placement
• Locations where two-way audio or local 4K monitoring is required

How to use

Install the IMOU N118W in a stable, ventilated location close to network and power sources. Connect wired cameras to your network or directly to the recorder where applicable and power the unit. For wireless cameras, use the IMOU app or the device interface to initiate the auto-pair procedure; cameras from the same ecosystem typically pair in seconds. Configure recording schedules, motion detection zones and retention settings through the recorder interface or the app. Install a compatible SATA HDD (up to 16 TB) and format it in the recorder before enabling continuous or event-based recording. Use HDMI or VGA to connect a monitor for live view and multi-channel playback.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term recording, use a surveillance-grade HDD sized according to your required retention period and enable H.265 compression to maximize storage efficiency. Place the NVR in a location with minimal interference for optimal Wi‑Fi performance, and prefer wired connections for high-traffic or critical camera links. Regularly check firmware updates via the IMOU app to maintain security and stability.
