Hacha unidad Fiskars 1003621

The Fiskars 1003621 axe tool combines a redesigned backwards-curved steel blade with a longer shaft to provide increased swing speed and the leverage of a two-handed grip. Built for lifting, turning and hauling logs as well as efficient cutting, the tool pairs the control of a hooked head with the balance and handling expected from a 943 mm, 993 g axe. Its black and orange finish improves visibility during outdoor and woodwork tasks.

Advantages

The longer shaft delivers greater swing power and reach while the curved steel blade helps secure and control timber. The tool’s weight and length are balanced to support comfortable two-handed use, and the hook-style head functions as a secure extension of the hand for lifting and hauling without slipping.

Suitable for

• Lifting and turning logs
• Hauling and positioning timber
• Chopping and splitting small to medium-sized wood
• General outdoor and woodwork tasks

How to use

Grip the shaft with both hands for maximum control and swing power. Use the curved blade and hook head to catch and stabilise logs when lifting or turning. For chopping, position the blade on the cutting point and apply controlled swings; allow the tool’s weight and the longer shaft to contribute to cutting force. Maintain a firm stance and clear working area before each swing.

Recommendations

Keep the blade sharp and clean, inspect the shaft and head connection regularly, and wear appropriate protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection when handling, lifting or cutting wood.
