Hama 00179257 Cable coaxial 10 m Tipo F blanco

The Hama 00179257 coaxial cable is a 10 m F-type white cable designed for reliable signal transmission between devices such as TVs, satellite receivers and set-top boxes. With a large screw head on the F-type connector and double shielding, the cable is intended to reduce interference and maintain good picture and sound quality.

Advantages

The large screw head simplifies mounting with a spanner, making connections faster and more secure. Double shielding (dense braiding plus an extra-strong shielding foil) provides a screening rate of approximately 90 dB to protect against electromagnetic interference. Shielded lines help ensure optimum picture and sound quality with minimal interference and signal loss over the 10 m length.

How to use

Align the F-type connector with the device socket and screw the connector on until snug using a spanner on the large screw head to ensure a secure, low-resistance connection. Avoid over-tightening. Route the cable to minimise sharp bends and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. For best results, connect both ends firmly and check the signal on the receiving device.

Recommendations

For stable reception, use this cable for runs up to 10 m and avoid running it parallel to power cables. If longer runs or outdoor exposure are required, consider specialised outdoor or amplified coaxial solutions.
