Hama 00205150 Cable de audio 1,5 m 3 x RCA Negro

The Hama 00205150 audio cable is a 1.5 m, 3xRCA to 3xRCA lead designed for connecting stereo and multichannel audio components. The cable features three male RCA plugs on each end and gold-plated contacts to improve signal transfer and limit corrosion. Its 1.5 metre length provides moderate reach for typical home audio and AV setups while the black jacket offers a discreet appearance that fits behind equipment or in entertainment cabinets.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts provide improved conductivity and resistance to oxidation, helping to maintain clear audio transmission over time. The triple-RCA configuration supports left/right stereo plus a separate channel (for example, centre or subwoofer in some setups), enabling compatibility with a wide range of receivers, amplifiers, DVD/Blu-ray players and other audio devices. The 1.5 m length balances flexibility and signal integrity for short to medium cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting stereo components (CD player, amplifier, tuner) in a home audio system
• Linking AV receivers to DVD/Blu-ray players and older game consoles
• Connecting external audio sources to powered speakers or soundbars that accept RCA inputs
• Temporary or permanent wiring behind entertainment centres with moderate distance requirements

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: 3 x male RCA on each end
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black jacket

How to use

Identify matching RCA input and output jacks on your source and destination devices (colour-coded typically as red, white and yellow or red, white and black for audio channels). Firmly insert each male RCA plug into the corresponding female jack, ensuring correct channel alignment (left/right and additional channel). Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to minimise contact with heat sources or moving parts. When disconnecting, pull the connector body rather than tugging the cable itself to preserve the connection integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running audio cables parallel to power cords to reduce potential interference. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or oxidation and clean gently if necessary. Use strain relief at connection points when installing behind cabinets or racks to prevent wear at the plug-cable junction.
