Hama 00205185 cable de audio 0,1 m 2 x RCA 3,5 mm negro

The Hama 00205185 audio cable is a compact connection lead designed for quick linking of devices with a 3.5 mm output to equipment with two RCA inputs. At 0.1 m length, this black cable minimises clutter while maintaining reliable analogue sound transmission for short-distance connections. It is suitable for portable audio players, laptops, smartphones with a headphone jack and stereo systems that accept RCA plugs.

Advantages

This cable provides a straightforward way to connect a 3.5 mm audio jack to a pair of RCA inputs without adapters. Its short 0.1 m length reduces excess cable and signal loss for nearby device placement. The black finish offers a neutral appearance that blends with most audio setups, and the fixed connectors ensure a stable physical and electrical connection for analogue audio signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting smartphones, MP3 players or laptops to stereo receivers or amplifiers with RCA inputs
• Linking portable audio devices to powered speakers or mixing consoles for short runs
• Temporary or permanent connections in compact home audio setups where cable length must be minimal

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.1 m
• Connector A: 3.5 mm male stereo
• Connector B: 2 × RCA female
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Analogue stereo audio

How to use

Insert the 3.5 mm male plug into the headphone or line-out jack of the source device. Plug the two RCA connectors into the corresponding left (white) and right (red) RCA inputs on the target device, ensuring correct channel alignment. Check volume levels on both source and receiver before playback to avoid sudden loud output. The short cable is designed for close-proximity connections and does not require additional setup or power.

Recommendations

Use this short cable when devices are located close together to minimise cable clutter and potential signal degradation. Avoid stretching the cable or placing it under sharp bends. If longer runs or balanced connections are required, choose a cable with appropriate length or connector types to match the installation needs.
