Hama 00205186 cable de audio 0,1 m 2 x RCA 3,5 mm negro, rojo

The Hama 00205186 audio cable is a compact adapter cable with a 0.1 m length, featuring two male RCA plugs and a female 3.5 mm jack. It is designed for short connections between devices such as portable audio players, laptops, car audio systems, mixers and speakers where a 3.5 mm output needs to be split into left and right RCA inputs. The cable's black and red colour coding simplifies channel identification and installation, and its short form factor is intended for tidy, low-profile connections in cramped setups or portable rigs.

Advantages

The cable provides a reliable analogue audio path with minimal signal loss over very short distances. Its compact 0.1 m length reduces cable clutter and avoids excess loops that can create interference in compact installations. Colour-coded connectors improve usability when connecting stereo channels, and the combination of two RCA plugs to a single 3.5 mm jack supports a wide range of consumer and pro-audio equipment.

How to use

Insert the 3.5 mm male plug of your source device into the female 3.5 mm jack on the cable assembly, or where applicable use an inline 3.5 mm connection. Plug the two male RCA connectors into the corresponding left (usually white or black) and right (usually red) RCA inputs of the receiving device. Ensure correct channel orientation by using the red-coded connector for the right channel. For best results, keep the cable straight and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this short cable only for near-field connections; avoid using it as a long extension. Match the output level of the source and the input sensitivity of the receiving device to prevent clipping or excessive noise. Inspect connectors for debris before connection and route the cable to minimise stress on the plugs.
