How to use

Mount the dome camera on a suitable ceiling surface using appropriate fasteners and ensure the network cable provides PoE power or connect a separate power source if PoE is not available. Configure network settings and video streams via the camera web interface or a supported VMS, select required codec and resolution (up to 5 MP, 30 fps) and enable on-board recording to a micro SD card if local storage is desired. Position the fixed 4 mm lens to cover the required scene and enable hallway view mode when monitoring narrow corridors.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, install the camera under a protective overhang or in sheltered locations to reduce direct exposure to weather. Use PoE-compatible switches for simplified installation; enable H.265 and WiseStream II to reduce bandwidth and storage use. Regularly verify firmware updates and perform periodic lens cleaning to maintain image clarity.
