KWB Flint Sandpaper Wood & Paint Rectangular 280x230mm is a rectangular abrasive sheet designed for smoothing and finishing wood, painted surfaces and filler. The sheet measures 280 x 230 mm and is supplied in a pack of 5. Manufactured in the EU, it uses flint abrasive suitable for manual sanding and for use with sanding blocks.

Its flint abrasive provides effective material removal on wood, paint and filler while maintaining an even finish. The standard rectangular shape and size fit common sanding blocks and allow for controlled hand-sanding.

How to use

Select an appropriate grit for the task, secure the sheet to a sanding block or sand by hand, and sand with even strokes along the grain on wood or across the surface on paint as required. Apply moderate pressure and check progress frequently to avoid over-sanding. Replace the sheet when the abrasive becomes clogged or worn.

Recommendations

For best results, start with a coarser grit to remove material or old paint, then progress to finer grits to achieve a smooth finish. Use dust extraction or a mask when sanding painted surfaces to reduce inhalation of dust.
