Hoja de sierra de inmersión Bosch PRO AII65APIB 65 x 40 mm Bimetal para madera, metal blando, plásticos

Blade for plunge saw Bosch PRO AII65APIB 65 x 40 mm Bi-Metal for wood, soft metal, plastics is a compact cutting accessory designed for short, precise cuts in a range of materials. The 65 x 40 mm size fits plunge and detail saws that accept this blade format and the bimetal construction combines wear resistance with flexibility to handle wood, non-hardened metals and plastic materials without frequent blade changes.

Advantages

The bimetal composition provides a balance of hardness and toughness, extending blade life during intermittent cuts in mixed materials. Its compact 65 x 40 mm profile enables controlled plunge cuts and precise entry points, reducing tear-out on wood and minimizing deformation when cutting soft metals or plastics. The blade is compatible with tools that accept this format and is suitable for renovation, carpentry and general DIY tasks requiring short, accurate cuts.

Suitable for

• Plunge and detail saws accepting a 65 x 40 mm blade format
• Cutting wood and laminated boards with minimal tear-out
• Trimming soft metals such as aluminum and thin non-hardened profiles
• Cutting plastics and composite materials for fitting and trimming

Key specifications

• Blade material: bimetal construction for wear resistance and flexibility
• Dimensions: 65 x 40 mm suitable for compact plunge operations
• Intended materials: wood, soft metals, plastics
• Cut type: short, precise plunge and trimming cuts

How to use

Install the blade according to the plunge saw manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the tool is switched off and disconnected from power. Secure the blade in the tool’s mounting interface and check that it is properly seated and tightened. For plunge cuts, position the saw at the intended entry point and engage the plunge mechanism smoothly; advance at a controlled speed appropriate for the material to avoid overheating. For metal and plastic, use light, steady feed and allow the bimetal blade to cut without excessive force. After use, inspect the blade for wear and replace when cutting quality degrades.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, and, when cutting metals or plastics, wear gloves and a dust mask if particles are generated. Match blade RPM and feed speed to the material: slower feeds and steady RPM for metals, moderate speed for wood and plastics. Store the blade dry and avoid impacts to maintain cutting edge integrity.
