Hojas de trapecio DeWalt DWHT8-11131 — 50 uds., puntas de carburo de tungsteno

Set of 50 trapezoidal blades DeWalt DWHT8-11131 with tungsten carbide tips is designed for heavy-duty cutting tasks in construction and renovation. Each blade has a trapezoidal profile that fits standard utility knives accepting trapezoidal inserts and a tungsten carbide tip to extend edge life under frequent cutting of abrasive or dense materials. The set provides a consistent cutting edge for drywall, cardboard, plastics and similar sheet materials, reducing the need for frequent blade changes and supporting uninterrupted work on site.

Advantages

Carbide-tipped cutting edge increases wear resistance compared with plain steel blades, maintaining sharpness longer when cutting abrasive surfaces. The trapezoidal shape delivers a robust tip geometry that resists chipping during plunge cuts and score-and-snap operations. Supplied as a pack of 50, the set reduces downtime for blade replacement and is convenient for teams or extended projects. Blades are compatible with a wide range of utility knives that accept trapezoidal inserts, allowing easy replacement and standardised use across tools.

Suitable for

• Scoring and cutting drywall and gypsum board
• Cutting corrugated cardboard and packaging material
• Trimming PVC sheets, linoleum and thin plastic panels
• On-site renovation and construction tasks requiring frequent blade changes

Key specifications

• Blade profile: trapezoidal geometry for standard utility knife fit
• Tip material: tungsten carbide for enhanced edge life
• Quantity in pack: 50 blades
• Suitable materials: drywall, cardboard, plastics and similar sheet materials
• Application type: heavy-duty cutting and scoring

How to use

Insert the trapezoidal blade into a compatible utility knife according to the knife manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the carbide tip faces the cutting direction. Use controlled strokes and moderate pressure for scoring or slicing; allow the carbide tip to do the cutting to avoid excessive force that could damage the blade or workpiece. Replace blades when cutting performance declines or any visible damage appears on the carbide tip. Dispose of used blades safely in a dedicated blade disposal container or according to local regulations.

Recommendations

For best results, select a utility knife with secure blade locking and a handle that provides good grip. When cutting abrasive materials frequently, rotate or replace blades preemptively to preserve cut quality. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as cut-resistant gloves and safety glasses during use.
