With its modular SFP port, various fiber optic transceivers (e.g. SX, LX) can be used – perfect for different ranges and infrastructures. The adapter supports network speeds of up to 1,000 Mb/s via the USB-C port, making it ideal for fast, stable connections with low latency.
The adapter scores particularly well in industrial applications, data centres or IT integration with features such as IEEE802.3az for energy saving, flow control to prevent packet loss and QoS capability for prioritised data transmission. How to use

Insert a suitable SFP transceiver into the modular SFP slot and connect the fiber cable according to the transceiver specifications. Plug the USB-C connector into a host device with a compatible USB-C port. Install any necessary drivers if the host operating system does not provide native support; Windows, macOS and many Linux distributions are broadly supported. Verify link status and configure network settings such as IP, VLAN and QoS on the host system or network equipment as required.
