The InLine® PCI Express cardexpands your system with four internal U.2 NVMe SSD slotsand enables parallel operation of four SSDswith full PCIe bandwidth. Thanks to automatic lane detection, configuration is carried out for optimum system integration.

BIOS/UEFI settings for PCIe bifurcation:
In order for both U.2 NVMe SSDs to be operated simultaneously, the PCIe slot used must often be set to Bifurcation modein the BIOS/UEFI. This divides the available PCIe lanes into several channels (e.g. one x16 slot into four x4 channels).
The exact designation varies depending on the motherboard manufacturer and BIOS/UEFI version. Terms such as "PCIe Bifurcation", "Lane Splitting"or "PCIe Slot Configuration"may be used. Please consult your mainboard manual for the correct setting and then check whether all NVMe SSDs are recognized.

How to use

Install the card into a free PCIe 3.0 x16 slot on a compatible motherboard and secure it with the supplied screws. Insert up to four SFF-8639 (U.2) NVMe SSDs into the connectors. Ensure the system BIOS/UEFI is configured for PCIe bifurcation (for example x16 -> x4/x4/x4/x4) if you want all drives to be recognized and used simultaneously. The drives receive power through the PCIe bus; no additional power cables or drivers are required for supported operating systems.
