How to use

Align a cage nut with a square hole in the rack rail and press it into place until the retaining tabs engage. Position the equipment mounting bracket and insert the M6 screw through the washer and into the cage nut. Tighten the screw to a firm torque appropriate for rack hardware, taking care not to over-tighten and deform the nut or rail.

Recommendations

Match the screw length to the combined thickness of the mounted equipment and rail, and use all required washers to distribute load. For repeated installations, inspect cage nuts for deformation and replace any damaged components.
