Juego de brocas Bosch CYL-5 2608588167

The Bosch CYL-5 Drill Bit Set (2608588167) contains durable masonry drill bits engineered for drilling holes in concrete, natural and artificial stone. The bits combine a Bosch-developed carbide blend with diamond-ground cutting edges for high wear resistance. A 2-flute vario design with a short, variable incline improves dust removal and reduces friction on the flute. The Power Grip Shank System provides direct power transfer from corded or cordless impact drills, ensuring efficient drilling and reduced wear. The set carries the PGM Masonry Drill Bit Association Board quality mark, confirming tight tolerances and accurate holes for a secure hold of fixings.

Advantages

The CYL-5 design delivers extended durability due to the carbide and diamond-ground cutting edges. Reduced friction and improved dust extraction from the vario 2-flute geometry lower wear during use. The Bosch Power Grip Shank System ensures 100% power transfer from the machine to the bit, minimising power loss and improving drilling efficiency. Compliance with the PGM quality mark guarantees consistent hole dimensions and reliable fixing retention.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Drilling holes for fixings in concrete
• Drilling in natural stone and artificial stone
• Use with corded or cordless impact drills that accept cylindrical shanks

Key specifications

• Brand: Bosch
• Model / MPN: 2608588167
• Set type: CYL-5 drill bit set
• Material compatibility: concrete, natural stone, artificial stone (masonry)
• Shank: cylindrical, Power Grip Shank System

How to use

Fit the appropriate diameter bit with the cylindrical shank into a compatible corded or cordless impact drill. Ensure the drill is set for hammer/impact mode when working in masonry. Position the drill perpendicular to the work surface, apply steady pressure and start at low speed to create a guide, then increase speed as the bit penetrates. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and allow cooling; the vario flute design aids dust removal during this process. Follow the drill and bit manufacturer's safety instructions and use eye and hearing protection.

Recommendations

Use the CYL-5 bits specifically for masonry tasks to preserve their diamond-ground cutting edges; avoid prolonged use on metal or wood to maintain optimal durability and accuracy.
