Kit de montaje Noctua NM-AM5-L9AL9I para zócalo AM5 negro

The Noctua NM-AM5-L9aL9i is a SecuFirm2™ mounting upgrade kit that enables owners of Noctua NH-L9a, NH-L9a-AM4 and NH-L9i low-profile CPU coolers to install those heatsinks on AMD Socket AM5 motherboards. The kit uses the standard AMD backplate pre-fitted on AM5 boards and provides a black-finish mounting solution manufactured to Noctua's SecuFirm2™ standards for stability and long-term reliability.

Advantages

The kit offers trusted SecuFirm2™ build quality with secure long-term stability, optimal contact pressure and straightforward installation using screws that engage the motherboard's stock AMD backplate. It is purpose-designed for AM5 to avoid cross-platform compatibility issues and supports backwards compatibility so older Noctua L9-series coolers can be reused on current Ryzen platforms. Using the upgrade kit extends the service life of an existing cooler and reduces the need to purchase a replacement heatsink.

Suitable for

• Owners of Noctua NH-L9a, NH-L9a-AM4 and NH-L9i coolers who want AM5 compatibility
• Upgrading an existing low-profile Noctua cooler for use with AMD Ryzen AM5 CPUs
• System builders aiming to reuse a proven cooler across platform generations

How to use

Install the NM-AM5-L9aL9i by aligning the kit’s brackets with the pre-installed AMD backplate on the motherboard and fastening the supplied screws from the rear side so they engage the backplate threads. Follow Noctua’s step-by-step mounting instructions included with the kit or available on Noctua’s website to ensure correct bracket orientation and appropriate contact pressure between cooler base and CPU IHS. Reuse the original cooler’s brackets where applicable and verify that the cooler clears other components in compact builds.

Recommendations

Use this mounting kit together with compatible Noctua NH-L9a, NH-L9a-AM4 or NH-L9i coolers. Check the detailed compatibility list from Noctua before installation, apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste, and confirm that mounting screws are tightened to the recommended torque to ensure reliable contact and long-term stability.
