Kit de tambor Kyocera DK-8505 (MPN 302LC93016) – unidad de tambor de repuesto para impresoras Kyocera compatibles

The Kyocera DK-8505 drum kit is a replacement drum unit designed for compatible Kyocera printers. It functions as the imaging component that receives toner and transfers the image onto paper, restoring print quality and page handling when the original drum has reached the end of its service life. This drum kit is suitable for users seeking an original-equivalent maintenance part to maintain consistent black-and-white output and reliable device operation in office or home environments.

Advantages

The drum unit provides stable image transfer and consistent halftone reproduction across long print runs, reducing the risk of streaking and image fading. It is manufactured to match the mechanical and optical tolerances required for compatible Kyocera devices, which helps to maintain paper feed accuracy and minimise service interruptions. Using a correctly matched drum unit supports predictable maintenance intervals and helps preserve overall print quality.

Suitable for

• Routine maintenance replacement in small office or home office laser printers
• Restoring consistent black-and-white print quality after drum wear
• Environments that require predictable print performance and low downtime
• Users who prefer original-equivalent components for device compatibility

Key specifications

• Function: Imaging/drum unit for toner transfer
• Compatibility: Designed for use with compatible Kyocera laser printers
• Color: Photoconductive surface for monochrome output
• Form factor: Replaceable cartridge-style drum unit

How to use

Turn off the printer and allow moving parts to stop before replacing the drum unit. Open the printer access panel, remove the spent drum according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions, and carefully install the DK-8505 drum kit by aligning it with the guides until it seats securely. Close the access panel, power the printer on, and run a test print or the device’s drum alignment routine if available. Dispose of the spent drum in accordance with local electronic waste regulations.

Recommendations

For best results, replace the drum unit when the printer indicates drum end-of-life or when print defects such as streaks, ghosting, or reduced density become noticeable. Use within the environmental and operating guidelines specified by the printer manufacturer, and combine replacement with appropriate toner cartridges to ensure optimal image quality and lifetime of the new drum unit.
