kwb 109146 Set de brocas para vidrio, 6 piezas, 5/6/8 mm, carburo de tungsteno, para vidrio, azulejos, cerámica, espejos, porcelana

This 6-piece glass drill bit set from kwb is specifically engineered for clean, chip-free drilling in glass, tiles, ceramics, mirrors, and porcelain. Unlike standard twist drills, each bit features a tungsten carbide spear-point tip that starts precisely without wandering and cuts without impact, making it ideal for both DIY and professional use. The set includes two bits each in 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm diameters, covering common fastener sizes for bathroom and kitchen installations.

Highlights

• 6-piece set: 2x 5 mm, 2x 6 mm, 2x 8 mm
• Tungsten carbide spear-point tip for precise starting
• Cylindrical shank fits quick-release and geared drill chucks
• For glass, tiles, ceramics, mirrors, porcelain
• Wet drilling recommended for longer life and cleaner holes
• Supplied in a practical storage case

In daily use

Use these bits with a standard corded or cordless drill in rotary mode only—never hammer. Apply light pressure and keep the tip wet with water or a suitable coolant to prevent overheating and glass cracking. The spear-point design bites into the surface without skating, and the tungsten carbide edge maintains sharpness through repeated use. Ideal for mounting towel bars, shower doors, mirrors, and tile backsplashes.
