Lámpara LED con sensor PIR MACLEAN MCE525 W — luminaria LED exterior con sensor de movimiento

MACLEAN MCE525 W is an outdoor LED lamp with an integrated PIR motion sensor that delivers automatic illumination for façades, entrances and pathways. Combining energy‑efficient LED technology with passive infrared detection, this outdoor LED fixture activates when it senses movement, providing hands‑free lighting and enhanced security around buildings. The compact design fits wall‑mounted installations and is intended for external use in residential and light commercial settings.

Advantages

The integrated PIR sensor ensures automatic activation only when needed, reducing energy consumption compared with continuous lighting. LED technology provides long service life and consistent light output with low power draw. The fixture’s weather‑resistant construction is designed for outdoor conditions, while the neutral white finish integrates discreetly with most building façades. Simple mounting and immediate operation make it practical for retrofit or new installations.

How to use

Mount the lamp securely on a suitable exterior wall at the recommended height for optimal motion detection and light coverage. Connect to the building electrical supply following applicable local wiring standards and ensure the power is switched off during installation. Adjust the orientation and position so the PIR sensor faces the area to be monitored. After restoring power, test the sensor by walking through the coverage zone and confirm automatic activation. Routine visual checks of the housing and sensor surface help maintain proper operation.

Recommendations

For reliable motion detection, avoid mounting the sensor opposite heat sources or objects that move frequently in the wind; keep the sensor lens clean and free from obstructions. Use this LED lamp for ambient and security lighting rather than detailed task illumination. Follow local regulations for outdoor electrical installations and consider placement that provides even coverage of approaches to the building.
