Lápices a base de aceite Faber-Castell Polychromos & Pitt Graphite Matt set de 48 unidades multicolor

The Faber-Castell Polychromos & Pitt Graphite Matt Set 48 pc Multicolour is a combined collection of oil-based colour pencils and matte graphite sticks designed for drawing, sketching and detailed illustration work. Manufactured in Germany, the set brings together a wide range of richly pigmented, lightfast colours alongside matt graphite tones to support mixed-media techniques, layering and fine line work. The oil-based cores resist breakage and provide a smooth, consistent laydown on paper, making this set suitable for professional and hobby use.

Advantages

The oil-based pencils offer a dense, buttery pigment that blends evenly without wax bloom, while the matt graphite elements deliver crisp, controllable grey tones for shading and precise contours. Colour vibrancy and lightfastness ensure long-lasting results, and the robust wooden casings protect cores from damage. The combination of coloured and graphite media in one set enables immediate switching between colour and tonal drawing without needing multiple separate purchases.

How to use

Select the required colour or graphite tone and apply with steady pressure for solid coverage or light pressure for soft washes. Build up colour through multiple thin layers to achieve depth and nuanced hues, and blend edges using a blending stump, soft brush or a white/light pencil for smoother transitions. Use the graphite matt pencils for initial sketches, tonal mapping or adding contrast after applying colour. Sharpen with a quality sharpener designed for coloured pencils to maintain a precise point and avoid core breakage.

Recommendations

For archival results, choose papers with sufficient tooth to accept multiple layers and consider fixing delicate graphite areas lightly with a compatible fixative if necessary. Store pencils horizontally to minimise warping and keep them protected from extreme temperature and humidity changes to preserve pigment integrity.
