The Laserliner CondenseSpot Pro is a climate, humidity and temperature measuring device designed to detect thermal bridges and to help prevent mould and mildew formation. It measures atmospheric humidity, ambient temperature, surface temperature and dew point temperature, and indicates problem areas using a laser circle display for precise targeting. The device provides clear warnings if thermal bridges or wall moisture are detected, and measured values can be held automatically after continuous measurement. Measurement data can be transferred to a smartphone or tablet via the Digital Connection interface and the MeasureNote app.

How to use

Point the Laserliner CondenseSpot Pro at the surface area to be tested using the laser circle display to position the measurement spot accurately. Read ambient and surface temperatures, relative humidity and calculated dew point from the display. If performing a continuous measurement, wait until the Auto-Hold function locks the stable measured value on the screen. Transfer recorded measurements to a smartphone or tablet using the Digital Connection interface and the MeasureNote app for documentation or further analysis.

Recommendations

When checking for thermal bridges and mould risk, measure both ambient and surface temperatures and compare with the dew point value; ensure measurements are taken at representative points (near windows, corners and junctions) and allow the device to stabilise on each spot before recording values.
