Latiguillo LANBERG S/FTP Cat.8.1 1 m LSZH CU, verificado con Fluke, blanco

LANBERG Patchcord S/FTP Cat.8.1 1 m LSZH CU in white is a high-performance short patch cable designed for data centre and structured cabling applications where Cat.8.1 specification is required. The cable features S/FTP shielding and solid copper conductors to support very high frequency transmission while minimising crosstalk and external interference. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, making the cord suitable for indoor installations in sensitive environments.

Advantages

This patchcord provides robust shielding with S/FTP construction, ensuring improved signal integrity for short, high-speed links. Solid copper conductors deliver low attenuation and reliable contact performance. The fluke passed testing provides verified compliance with performance criteria, and the LSZH sheath offers enhanced safety in enclosed spaces. The compact 1 m length reduces cable clutter and helps maintain proper channel performance in racks and patch panels.

How to use

Connect the LANBERG Cat.8.1 patchcord between RJ45 ports on compatible network equipment such as switches, servers or patch panels. Ensure that both connecting ports and the installed channel components meet Cat.8.1 requirements to achieve intended performance. Route the cable without sharp bends, avoid excessive pulling force, and keep the length appropriate for short connections within racks or between adjacent devices.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this 1 m S/FTP patchcord for short, high-frequency links inside racks or between adjacent equipment in data centres and server rooms. Pair with Cat.8.1-compliant connectors and patch panels, maintain bend radius recommendations, and avoid running parallel to strong EMI sources. Store and handle the cable in dry conditions and inspect connectors for secure seating before commissioning.
