The cable uses a stranded 4-pair copper conductor with complete braid shielding and each pair wrapped in aluminium-clad polyester foil (PiMF), providing improved protection against external interference. Both ends feature screened RJ-45 connectors with moulded kink protection and gold-plated contacts, wired 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard.
