Latiguillo S/FTP Cat.6a ROLINE 50 m

S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a ROLINE 50m is a 50-metre networking cable designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling and device interconnections. The cable uses 4-pair solid copper conductors with full braid shielding and pair-level aluminium-clad polyester foil, and is fitted with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection increase durability, while the LSOH jacket reduces harmful emissions for indoor installation.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (overall braid plus individually shielded pairs) minimises electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting high-performance applications up to Cat.6a specifications. Screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts ensure stable contact and corrosion resistance. The moulded kink protection improves mechanical robustness at connector ends. The cable is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and multimedia transmissions over twisted pair.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data centres
• Device-to-device patching (switches, routers, patch panels)
• PoE-powered devices such as IP cameras and access points
• Multimedia signal transmission over twisted pair

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Category: Cat.6a (S/FTP)
• Conductor: 4-pair solid copper
• Shielding: complete braid shielding + pair-level aluminium-clad polyester foil
• Connectors: screened RJ-45 — both ends, contact wiring 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Contacts: gold plated
• Jacket: LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Run the cable between the two network endpoints and insert the screened RJ-45 plugs firmly into the appropriate ports. Ensure the moulded kink protection aligns with the connector outlet to avoid sharp bends near the plug. For installations in patch panels or racks, route the cable to avoid excessive bending radius and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight coils and sharp bends; maintain the recommended bending radius for Cat.6a cables. Use the cable in indoor environments and follow PoE power-class limits of connected devices. Verify termination and connector integrity before deploying in critical network links.
