How to use

Connect the OMNIKEY 5427 CK to a host using the USB 2.0 cable; the CCID interface allows immediate use without driver installation in most operating systems. Present a supported card or mobile credential to the reader—if using the Bluetooth model, follow the device pairing process to enable mobile access. When keyboard wedge or keystroke emulation is enabled, card data is sent directly to the active application as keystrokes.
