Legrand Camera TC77 12V 130mA IP66 — Cámara de vigilancia exterior con funcionamiento a 12V y protección IP66

Legrand Camera TC77 is an outdoor surveillance camera designed for continuous external monitoring. It operates from a 12V supply with a rated current of 130 mA and features IP66 dust and water protection, making it suitable for installations exposed to rain, dust and varying weather conditions. The camera is intended for use with compatible 12V systems and mounting locations such as façades, entrances and perimeter points where a compact, weather-resistant video solution is required.

Advantages

The IP66 housing ensures protection against strong jets of water and ingress of dust, providing reliable operation in outdoor environments. Low rated current consumption at 130 mA on a 12V supply keeps power requirements minimal and simplifies integration with low-voltage surveillance systems. The compact form factor and design optimized for external mounting permit discreet installation on walls and under eaves while maintaining consistent image capture for continuous monitoring.

How to use

Mount the camera on a stable surface using appropriate fasteners for the chosen substrate, ensuring the camera housing faces the intended coverage area. Connect the camera to a compatible 12V DC power source capable of supplying at least the rated current. Route cabling to protect it from mechanical damage and water ingress, using sealed glands or conduits where necessary. After power-up, adjust the camera angle and focus according to the manufacturer’s optics guidelines and integrate the video feed into your recording or monitoring system following standard CCTV procedures.

Recommendations

For long-term reliable operation, install the camera under an overhang where possible to reduce direct exposure to heavy rain and sunlight, regularly inspect seals and cable entries for wear, and use surge protection on the 12V supply if the camera is located in an area prone to electrical storms or power fluctuations.
