Lindy 43431 lets two computers share up to four USB peripherals. Two USB Type-B upstream sockets connect the host computers, while three USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port connect devices such as cameras, speakerphones, printers or storage drives. USB 3.2 Gen 2 supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and remains compatible with older USB generations.

Select the active computer with the front button, automatic switching, RS-232 commands or GPIO control. Each USB Type-A device port supplies up to 900 mA. The included external power adapter provides 12 V DC at 2 A. The black metal enclosure measures 112 × 90 × 22 mm and has a net device weight of 250 g.

The package contains the sharing switch, a four-pin terminal block, a 1.4 m RS-232 nine-pin to three-pin terminal cable, a multi-country power adapter, two mounting brackets with screws, four rubber feet and the manual. USB cables for connecting the host computers are selected separately to match their ports. The switch itself does not require additional control software.
