How to use

Insert the appropriate batteries and ensure the receiving device is powered on. Point the IR-40 directly at the target device’s IR sensor within the recommended operating range and press the desired buttons to toggle power, select modes, or adjust settings. Maintain an unobstructed line of sight between the remote and the receiver for reliable operation. Replace batteries when response becomes sluggish or intermittent.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, avoid placing objects between the remote and the device sensor, and operate within the manufacturer’s suggested distance. Store the remote in a dry environment and remove batteries if the unit will be unused for an extended period to prevent leakage.
