Märklin 60941 H0 juego de accionamiento de alto rendimiento para motores de colector de tambor y de conmutador plano

Model railway enthusiasts upgrading older Märklin H0 locomotives often face sluggish performance and high current draw. The Märklin 60941 High-Efficiency Propulsion Kit solves this by replacing the original drum collector motor (DCM) or flat commutator motor (FCM) with a modern 5-pole permanent magnet motor. This conversion significantly improves running smoothness, increases pulling power, and reduces power consumption, making your vintage locomotives run like new.

Key specifications

• Product type: High-efficiency propulsion kit
• Scale: H0 (1:87)
• Power system: AC (alternating current)
• Motor type: 5-pole high-efficiency permanent magnet motor
• Compatibility: Märklin H0 locomotives with drum collector motors (DCM) or flat commutator motors (FCM)
• Included components: Motor armature, permanent magnet, motor shield, chokes, brushes, screws
• Required for digital operation: Separate digital decoder (e.g., Märklin 6090x, 6092x, or modern mfx/DCC decoders)
• Installation: Requires technical expertise and soldering
• Recommended age: 15+ years
• Material: Metal, plastic, copper

Why choose it

This kit delivers a noticeable performance boost: smoother low-speed operation, stronger pulling capacity, and lower current draw, which reduces heat and wear. The 5-pole motor design ensures quieter running and better control, especially with digital command stations. It is an authentic Märklin spare part, guaranteeing precise fit and long-term reliability.

Ideal use cases

• Upgrading older Märklin H0 locomotives with DCM or FCM motors for improved performance.
• Preparing locomotives for digital operation by pairing with a suitable decoder.
• Restoring vintage models to modern running standards.
• Enthusiasts seeking to enhance pulling power for longer trains or gradients.

Good to know

Installation requires moderate to advanced modelling skills, including soldering and mechanical disassembly. Always disconnect the locomotive from power before starting. The kit includes all necessary mechanical and electrical components except the digital decoder, which must be purchased separately. Refer to the locomotive's service manual for specific conversion instructions. Suitable for ages 15 and up due to small parts and technical complexity.
