Marmitek Connect AD12 Negro 25008412 Extractor de audio HDMI 4K

The Marmitek Connect AD12 Black is a compact 4K HDMI audio extractor designed to separate audio from HDMI sources and provide analogue and digital outputs. It enables connection of HDMI devices to audio systems that lack sufficient analogue inputs and supports uncompressed LPCM stereo output at 48 kHz. The unit includes a high-quality analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) and offers both optical and coaxial digital outputs for simultaneous use.

Advantages

The device is suitable when an amplifier, soundbar or powered speakers have too few or no analogue inputs. It allows connection of a turntable that has a built-in phono pre-amplifier (RIAA) to a digital input. The extractor provides uncompressed LPCM digital stereo output with a 48 kHz sample rate and contains a high-quality ADC for accurate sound reproduction. Both digital optical and digital coaxial outputs can be used simultaneously.

How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the Connect AD12 HDMI input, then connect the HDMI output to your display. Use the optical or coaxial digital output to connect to your audio system, or use the analogue outputs if available on your receiver. Ensure the turntable has a built-in phono preamp before connecting; external phono preamps are required if the turntable lacks one. Power the unit and select the appropriate input on your audio device to receive the extracted audio signal.

Recommendations

For best results, use quality digital cables (optical or coaxial) and verify that your source device outputs PCM audio. If connecting a turntable, confirm it has a built-in RIAA phono pre-amplifier. Avoid using the extractor with copy-protected HDMI streams that may block audio extraction.
