Mástil de antena ShiverPeaks 89845 ALU 50 mm Ø, espesor de pared 2 mm

The ShiverPeaks antenna mast 89845 is a 2-meter aluminum mast with a 50 mm outer diameter and 2 mm wall thickness, designed to support antennas and related RF equipment. Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum, it offers a balance of low weight and sufficient rigidity for rooftop, tower or pole mounting. The mast includes an end cap and is suitable for installations where a compact, durable mounting shaft is required for amateur radio, television or point-to-point wireless links.

Advantages

This aluminum mast combines light weight with corrosion resistance, making handling and installation easier while reducing long-term maintenance. The 50 mm diameter and 2 mm wall thickness provide stable mechanical support for medium-sized antennas without excessive bulk. Its 2 m length is compact for confined rooftop or pole mount locations and compatible with common mounting brackets and clamps designed for round masts.

Suitable for

• Amateur radio antenna installations
• TV antenna mounting on roofs or balconies
• Point-to-point wireless link supports
• Temporary or semi-permanent mast installations

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum (corrosion-resistant alloy)
• Outer diameter: 50 mm
• Wall thickness: 2 mm
• Length: 2 m
• End fitting: protective end cap included
• Surface finish: uncoated or naturally oxidized aluminum surface

How to use

Select a suitable mounting location such as a roof ridge, tower platform or vertical pole and confirm that the mounting bracket or clamp matches a 50 mm round mast. Slide the mast into the clamp and secure with stainless steel bolts or U-bolts rated for outdoor use. Route antenna feeders and grounding conductors along the mast and fasten with UV-resistant ties or clamps, ensuring drip loops and service access. Verify mechanical stability and tighten all fasteners; perform grounding and lightning protection according to local codes before energizing connected equipment.

Recommendations

For improved corrosion resistance in coastal or industrial environments, consider additional surface protection or periodic inspection. Use compatible clamps and stainless hardware to avoid galvanic corrosion between different metals. Ensure proper grounding and follow local regulations for lightning protection and structural safety when installing antennas on this mast.
