JUNG 506 KOU is an electrical switch mechanism designed for installation inside compatible wall frames and cover plates. The unit provides reliable on/off switching for lighting circuits and other suitable low-voltage loads when used within its specifications. This insert requires a neutral conductor and includes a glow lamp to indicate switch status; the glow lamp is replaceable with specified LED replacements. The mechanism features screwless terminals suitable for rigid conductors up to 2.5 mm and is intended for professional electrical installations or replacement of existing JUNG switch modules.

Advantages

The switch insert offers screwless terminals for fast and secure connection of rigid wires up to 2.5 mm, reducing installation time and ensuring a compact contact. Inclusion of an integrated glow lamp provides clear status indication and allows safer locating of the switch in low-light conditions. How to use

Switch inserts must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations. Before installation, disconnect power and verify absence of voltage. Connect the phase and neutral conductors to the designated terminals, ensuring rigid wires are properly inserted into the screwless clamps up to 2.5 mm diameter. Fit the mechanism into the matching frame or cover plate variant; if using a model without claws, secure according to the frame manufacturer’s instructions. After wiring and mounting, restore power and verify correct switching operation and glow lamp indication.

Recommendations

Use only compatible frames and cover plates from the same product family to ensure correct fit. Replace the integrated glow lamp with specified LED replacement types for lower power consumption and longer life. For safety and warranty compliance, installation and any lamp replacement should be performed by a qualified professional and in accordance with national electrical standards.
