Brújula de navegación magnética Mil‑Tec Mil‑Tec US con iluminación, carcasa de aluminio, escalas 1:50k y 1:25k, oliva

Magnetic navigational compass Mil‑Tec US in an aluminium housing with a protective lid and a fold-out sighting viewfinder. The compass includes LED backlight with red illumination and map scales 1:50,000 and 1:25,000. Its compact dimensions and 130 g weight make it suitable for handheld use during outdoor navigation and map reading.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides a durable yet lightweight body. A fold-out viewfinder enables accurate sighting, while the protective lid shields the dial when not in use. LED backlight with red illumination preserves night vision and improves visibility in low-light conditions. Built-in map scales facilitate quick distance estimation on standard topographic maps.

Suitable for

• Hiking and backpacking navigation
• Field orientation and route planning
• Map reading and topographic navigation
• Outdoor training and survival exercises

How to use

Open the protective lid and unfold the sighting viewfinder to take bearings. Hold the compass level and align the sighting notch with the target; rotate the dial until the magnetic needle aligns with the orienting arrow. Use the LED backlight when visibility is poor, activating red illumination to preserve night vision. For map navigation, use the built-in 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 scales to measure distances and transfer bearings between map and terrain.

Recommendations

Store the compass away from strong magnetic fields and electronic devices to maintain accuracy. Replace batteries for the LED backlight as needed and avoid prolonged exposure to saltwater to preserve the aluminium housing.
