Monitor Acer KA2 KA272UP6bmiipx 27" Quad HD (2560 x 1440) IPS LCD, 4 ms, ángulo de visión de 178°, altavoces integrados, VESA, Negro

The Acer KA2 KA272UP6bmiipx is a 27" (68.6 cm) IPS LCD monitor with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution, a native 16:9 aspect ratio and a 4 ms gray-to-gray response time. The panel offers wide 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, typical brightness of 250 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 1500:1. The monitor includes built-in speakers, VESA mounting compatibility and comes in a black finish. It is designed for general office use, content creation and multimedia playback where higher pixel density than Full HD is required.

Advantages

The 27" Quad HD IPS panel provides sharper detail and more screen real estate compared with Full HD, which is useful for multitasking and image editing. IPS technology ensures consistent color and wide viewing angles across the screen. Built-in speakers and VESA mounting add installation flexibility, while a 4 ms response time keeps motion reasonably smooth for general multimedia and office tasks. Energy consumption and efficiency ratings are provided for SDR and HDR usage to help estimate running costs.

Suitable for

• Office productivity and spreadsheet work where additional desktop space is helpful
• Photo and video editing workflows that benefit from higher resolution and IPS color consistency
• General multimedia playback, video streaming and casual gaming
• Multi-monitor setups using the near‑edge design of flat panels and VESA wall or arm mounts

When it may not be suitable

This monitor is not positioned as a professional color‑critical reference display; it lacks manufacturer-stated professional color gamut or calibration guarantees. Additionally, users seeking the lowest possible input latency or the fastest high-refresh competitive gaming panel may prefer displays with higher maximum refresh rates and manufacturer-specified gaming features beyond the listed response time.

How to use

Connect a video source using HDMI or DisplayPort as available on your system, then adjust the screen position, tilt and display settings via the monitor’s on-screen menu. Use the built-in speakers for basic audio output or connect external speakers if higher audio quality is required. For best image clarity, set your computer’s output resolution to 2560 x 1440 and adjust brightness and color settings to suit ambient lighting.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that your PC or graphics card supports 2560 x 1440 resolution at the desired refresh rate via HDMI or DisplayPort.
• Decide whether built-in speakers meet your audio needs or if external speakers/headphones are required.
• Check VESA mount size and compatibility if you plan to use an arm or wall mount.
• Consider whether an IPS Quad HD panel meets your color accuracy needs or if a factory-calibrated professional monitor is required.

Recommendations

Use the native 2560 x 1440 resolution for desktop applications and creative work to take advantage of increased pixel density. Adjust brightness and enable any available low-blue-light and flicker-reduction settings for prolonged viewing sessions. When mounting multiple screens, align panel edges and match display profiles where possible to ensure a consistent multi-monitor experience.
