-90x90h.webp "Configura tu PC gaming — Ryzen 7 7700 + RTX 5070, 32GB DDR5 | DistriNode")
The Lenovo ThinkVision P40WD-40 Monitor is a 39.7" (100.8 cm) ultrawide professional display with WUHD 5120 x 2160 resolution and an IPS panel. It features a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 2500R curved screen designed for extended desktop space and immersive wide-format viewing. The monitor includes built-in speakers, a USB hub, VESA mounting and height adjustment, and multiple connectivity options for desktop and workstation use.
Advantages
The monitor delivers high color coverage with 98% DCI-P3 and factory calibration for accurate color reproduction. A variable refresh rate from 24 to 120 Hz and a 6 ms response time suit both smooth motion and general productivity. Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with 140W PD (Power Delivery), DisplayPort out, Thunderbolt out and 2.5G RJ45 support a one-cable workstation setup. Additional features such as daisy chain capability, Lenovo True Split and (e)KVM extend multi-source workflows, while remote manageability enables centralized control.
Suitable for
When it may not be suitable
Due to its ultrawide 21:9 format and large curved screen, this monitor may be less suitable for users who need multiple standard 16:9 monitors for stereo or reference layouts. Gamers seeking the lowest possible input lag or competitive high-frame-rate play may prefer displays with faster response times and higher refresh rates targeted specifically at gaming.
Key specifications
How to use
Set the monitor on a stable desk or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or stand and adjust the height to eye level to reduce neck strain. Connect a host computer via Thunderbolt 4 or DisplayPort for the best performance; use the Thunderbolt PD to power a compatible laptop while sharing video and network over a single cable. Configure color settings through the monitor OSD or use factory calibration profiles when precise color is required. Use the built-in USB hub and RJ45 connection to expand peripheral and network access, and enable True Split or (e)KVM when switching between multiple sources.
What to consider before purchase
Recommendations
For accurate color work, allow the monitor to warm up for 30 minutes and use the factory calibration profile; when connecting multiple devices, use the Thunderbolt 4 one-cable setup to minimize cable clutter and enable network and peripheral sharing through the monitor.
