LG 27GX704A-B is a 27" computer monitor with a 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD) OLED panel designed for accurate colour reproduction and fast pixel response. The display offers a 0.03 ms response time, wide 178°/178° viewing angles and a high contrast ratio, providing clear detail in both bright and dark scenes. The screen is flat with a 0.229 mm pixel pitch and typical brightness of 275 cd/m². The monitor supports VESA mounting and includes a height-adjustable stand for flexible ergonomic positioning. It does not include built-in speakers and comes in black finish.

Advantages

The OLED panel delivers deep blacks and a very high contrast ratio for accurate shadow detail and vivid highlights, while the 0.03 ms response time minimises motion blur in fast-moving content. Quad HD resolution on a 27" diagonal provides a balance of pixel density and workspace for productivity and multimedia. The flat screen and wide viewing angles maintain consistent colour and contrast from different positions. Height adjustment and VESA compatibility allow flexible installation in multi-monitor or ergonomic setups.

Suitable for

• Fast-paced gaming and eSports where low response time is critical
• Photo and video editing requiring high contrast and colour fidelity
• Multimedia consumption and streaming with deep blacks and rich colours
• Office and productivity tasks that benefit from Quad HD resolution and adjustable ergonomics

How to use

Place the LG 27GX704A-B on a stable desk surface or attach it to a compatible VESA mount. Connect the monitor to your computer using the recommended high-bandwidth cable for your GPU and desired refresh rate. Adjust the height of the stand to align the top third of the screen with your eye level and set viewing distance to reduce eye strain. Use the on-screen display (OSD) menu to select resolution, refresh rate, and image presets; fine-tune brightness, contrast, and colour settings to match your environment or colour workflow. For gaming, enable the adaptive sync option that matches your graphics card technology.

Recommendations

For consistent results, allow the display to warm up for a few minutes before critical colour work. Use native 2560 x 1440 resolution and a suitable refresh rate to fully utilise the panel’s responsiveness. Avoid prolonged static full-screen content at maximum brightness to reduce the theoretical risk of image retention associated with OLED technology; vary content and use screen savers or sleep settings when idle.
