Pelacables Televes FCS10 2145 — Pelacables coaxial/telecomunicaciones

Televes FCS10 2145 — coax/telecom cable stripper is a compact handheld tool designed to prepare coaxial and telecommunications cables by removing outer sheaths and internal insulation with precision. The tool produces consistent, repeatable cuts that help ensure reliable connector installation and maintain signal integrity. Its size and construction make it suitable for both fieldwork and workshop use, simplifying routine cable preparation for installers, technicians and service personnel.

Advantages

The cable stripper delivers accurate and uniform stripping depths to reduce the risk of damaging conductors or dielectric layers. Its ergonomic design and compact dimensions provide comfortable handling during repetitive tasks. Built for durability, the tool is appropriate for frequent use in varied environments and offers quick adjustment for different cable diameters and types, enabling efficient workflow.

Suitable for

• Preparing coaxial cables for connector termination
• Stripping telecommunications and data cables during installation and maintenance
• On-site service tasks and workshop cable preparation
• Routine field installations where consistent stripping quality is required

Key specifications

• Function: manual cable stripper for coaxial and telecom cables
• Application: outer sheath and insulation removal for connector assembly
• Design: compact handheld construction for field and workshop use
• Adjustability: accommodates a range of cable diameters and insulation thicknesses
• Performance: provides precise, repeatable cutting action to protect conductors and dielectric

How to use

Place the cable into the designated stripping slot, align to the required length for outer sheath or dielectric removal, then rotate the tool around the cable while maintaining light, even pressure. After scoring the jacket, pull the cut section away to expose the braid and dielectric as needed for connector installation. If the tool includes adjustable stops or settings, set them to match the cable diameter before making the cut to ensure consistent results.

Recommendations

Inspect blades regularly for wear and replace or service the tool if cuts become uneven. Use the appropriate stripping depth and avoid excessive force to prevent conductor damage. Store the tool in a dry place and keep it clean from debris to maintain performance.
