Desk-mount boom microphone stand MAONO B01 (BA20) is a compact black scissor arm designed to secure a microphone to desks, shelves or counters up to 4.5 cm thick. The assembly includes a desk mounting clamp and a standard microphone clip; the all-steel construction and dual suspension springs on each boom arm provide stable support and help protect the microphone from sudden drops while enabling adjustable positioning for podcasting, streaming, recording or remote meetings. Microphone and filter shield mask not included.

Advantages

The MAONO B01 (BA20) combines a robust all-steel scissor arm with a universal clamp for fast attachment to most flat work surfaces. Dual suspension springs reduce shock and sudden descent of the arm, while the telescopic design and height adjustment allow precise mic placement to improve sound capture and desk organization. The arm folds for compact storage and transport.

How to use

Attach the universal clamp to the edge of a desk, shelf or counter not exceeding 4.5 cm thickness and tighten the adjustable screw until secure. Check the dual suspension springs for smooth movement and balance the microphone by sliding along the boom if needed.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure the clamp is tightened to a solid surface and periodically check all fastenings. Use a shock mount or pop filter (not included) when recording to further reduce vibrations and plosives. Avoid overextending the arm beyond its intended range and do not exceed recommended load; while the construction is sturdy, balance the microphone weight for stable operation.
