Pies de gato Scarpa Drago - amarillo - EU 38

Boulderers and sport climbers tackling steep, overhanging terrain demand a shoe that delivers precision, sensitivity, and reliable grip. The Scarpa Drago in yellow is built for exactly that: a soft, highly downturned slipper that excels on modern competition problems and technical routes. Its Vibram XS Grip 2 sole and microsuede upper combine to give you the confidence to smear, edge, and toe-hook on the most demanding holds.

Key specifications

• Upper: microsuede (synthetic)
• Sole: Vibram XS Grip 2, 3.5 mm
• Midsole: Flexan 1.0 mm (forefoot only)
• Last: FZ, highly aggressive and asymmetric
• Closure: single Velcro strap with elasticated slipper
• Heel: PAF (Pressure Absorbing Fit) system
• Toe patch: large rubber for toe hooks
• Colour: yellow
• Size: EU 38 (UK 5, US men's 6, US women's 7)

Why choose it

The Drago's soft construction and downturned shape provide exceptional sensitivity and power transfer on steep rock and plastic. The PAF heel reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon while maintaining a secure fit, and the large toe patch enhances performance on toe hooks. The single Velcro strap allows quick on/off between attempts, making it a favourite among competition climbers.

Ideal use cases

• Bouldering on steep, powerful problems
• Sport climbing on overhanging routes
• Competition climbing where sensitivity and precision are key
• Indoor and outdoor climbing on technical terrain

Good to know

Scarpa recommends sizing down from your street shoe for a performance fit. The unlined microsuede upper will stretch slightly, so a snug initial fit is ideal. The Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber offers excellent friction on both rock and gym holds, and the 3.5 mm sole balances durability with feel.
